RYNEDA s.r.o. ("we", "us") operates the web game Galactic Tycoons available at galactictycoons.com (the "Service"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By registering for or using the Service, you agree to this policy.

  • Account Data: Username, hashed password, email address, registration/login dates.
  • Google Login Data (if used): Google User ID, email address provided by Google, authentication tokens.

  • Game Data: Your progress and activities within game Galaxies (servers).
  • Chat Data: In-game private and global chat messages. These messages are not encrypted and may be monitored solely to enforce our Terms of Service and maintain a safe environment. Do not share personal information in chat. Galaxy-specific chat data is deleted up to 90 days after that Galaxy ends.
  • Payment Data: We use Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") as our payment processor. Paddle handles and stores your payment details (like credit card information) according to their privacy policy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy. We only store records of your purchases (what virtual product you bought, the amount paid, and the date).
  • Usage Data: We use tools like Google Tag to gather basic analytics about how the Service is used, helping us improve it.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Operate and provide the Service (authentication, gameplay, account management).
  • Communicate essential service information (e.g., password resets, support responses, important account notices).
  • Process your virtual goods purchases via Paddle.
  • Ensure security and enforce our Terms of Service (including necessary chat monitoring).
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve the Service (often using aggregated or anonymized data).

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Our legal basis for processing your data includes:

6. Data Security & International Transfers

We implement reasonable security measures (like SSL encryption for data transfer, password hashing, secure hosting). However, no online system is 100% secure.

Your information is processed and stored on Google Cloud servers located in the United States. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your data to the US.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active, or until you request deletion.
  • IP Addresses: Deleted 30 days after the associated login session expires.
  • Galaxy-Specific Game/Chat Data: Deleted up to 90 days after the specific Galaxy ends.
  • Payment Records: Retained as required for financial accounting and legal compliance.

Requesting account deletion results in the permanent and irreversible deletion of your account, game progress, and any purchased virtual goods.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Service is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 16, you must have parental or legal guardian consent, as stated in our Terms of Service: https://galactictycoons.com/terms.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@galactictycoons.com.
